Edward J. Grimes, 96 of Holiday Florida, passed away on April 20, 2026.   Edward was born  and raised in Bristol, PA.  He lived in Detroit, MI  for a time and retired from the city of Detroit before moving to Florida.  He enjoyed many years working and volunteering with St. Vincent De Paul Church.  He was a devout Catholic.  He also enjoyed taking care of his many kitties over the years. He was predeceased by his sister Theresa Staley and his brother Raymond Grimes. He was a kind and joyful man that will be missed by his nieces and nephews and many friends at St Vincent De Paul.  Many thanks to nurses and caregivers at Madison Pointe for caring for Ed in his final days.
