Giles and Eric,
I was deeply sad to learn of your mother’s passing. I knew Priscilla when I succeeded her position at Baptist Hospital in Nashville. Later, she hired me to work at the VA in Tampa.
I admired her professionalism, kindness, and the genuine joy she brought to her work.
I truly enjoyed working with your mother, and I will miss her very much. She was quick to laugh, always ready to lend a hand, and a good friend.
She had a remarkable and distinguished career in librarianship.
Priscilla left a legacy of excellence that will continue to influence others for years to come.
Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I hope you find comfort knowing she touched many lives and the lasting impact her generosity and accomplishments will have.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Marilyn Teolis

Giles and Ric and family, I considered your mother a dear friend. She was someone I hadmired greatly for her kindness and encouragement. She was an excellent librarian and was so well respected in all the institutions where she worked. We were so glad to add her to the VA Library Network family. She added much wisdom, intelligence, and support to those of us who worked with her. She was a pleasure to know and was always willing to share her knowledge with others. And she was just fun. She was interested in everything from opera to soccer, and I was fortunate enough to be able to share those outings with her. After we both retired, we did not see each other as frequently, but we often watched soccer games “together” from the comfort of our homes. I will miss my friend.
You and your family will be in my prayers. Know that your mom was loved by those who knew her and she will be truly missed.

Giles and Eric, I am so sorry for your loss. Your mother changed my life. She gave me an opportunity, and taught me a craft that I have used to change 100’s, maybe even 1000’s of lives for the better. Her tolerance of the worst of me, allowed me to discover the best of me. She will be missed. I pray that you and your family be blessed and covered while you navigate this next chapter in your lives.
