Sharron Ann Caraker, 81, of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away on May 17th, 2026. Sharron was born in Watsonville, California, on October 29th, 1944, the oldest of four children. While attending Purdue University, East Texas State University, and Andrews University, Sharron earned multiple degrees, including several Master’s degrees and a Doctorate in Education. She spent over 50 years as a respected educator and was known for her dedication to students and families. Sharron loved reading, playing cards, and cherishing time with family, especially her grandchildren. Sharron was preceded in death by her parents Joesph and Betty Klebosits, her sister Susan, and her son Brian. Left behind to cherish her memory are her siblings, Melodie (Joe) and Steve (Pam), her children, Kristin (Steve) Wilczynski, Michelle (Michael) Gaddis, and David (Teresa) Caraker, her six grandchildren, Katie (Kevin), Anna, Marybeth, David, Hannah, and Trey, and her great-granddaughter, Parker. Sharron will be remembered for her faith, kindness, generosity, and unconditional love for her family. Friends and family will gather for a Rosary at 9:30 am and a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 am on Friday, July 17, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 9643 Ferndale Road, Dallas, Texas.
