Jeanette Mallory Cherry was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Friday, May 22, 2026. Jeanette was born in Columbiana, Ohio on January 5, 1927 and was an identical twin. She is survived by her daughters Cyndi (Mark) McClure, Nancy (Ben) Fortson, and Sharon Hayes. Her grandchildren Kyle, Chrystl, Aimee, Leah, Noah, Haylee, and Hannah and her great grandchildren Finn, Rhys, Eiln, Oliver, and Mac.

Jeanette grew up on a farm in Tallmadge, Ohio with her two brothers and two sisters. She moved to Pensacola, Florida where she met and married her husband of 70 years, Hap Cherry. They were married in the Navel Chapel at Pensacola Navel Air Station. She was a proud supporter of Hap’s navel career.

Jeanette enjoyed traveling and spent many years doing so with family and friends. She loved music, reading, and sewing. She made many of her own clothes. She was a wonderful caretaker and cared deeply for family. She welcomed everyone into her home and loved to have family around. She was a devoted wife and mother.
