Jason Overstreet, 38, passed away on September 11, 2026. He was born on January 24, 1988, in Tampa, Florida, to Martha Overstreet.

Jason is survived by his mother, Martha Overstreet; his siblings, Laura MacLean (Doug), Rebecca Modock (Gene), Joseph Modock (Melissa), Jeffrey Modock (Sara), Justin Whaley (Christina), Traci Biasotti(Jason); and all of his beloved nieces and nephews.

Jason lived a life surrounded by the love of his family. He had a great sense of humor, an unforgettable personality, and a way of making even ordinary moments memorable. He was known for being a bit of a troublemaker, always giving people a hard time, and never missing an opportunity to make someone laugh. His playful nature and ability to bring laughter to those around him were just part of what made Jason uniquely himself.

Jason enjoyed wrestling and playing video games, but some of his favorite moments were simply spent with the people he loved. He enjoyed joking around, teasing his family, and creating memories that will be remembered for years to come.

Jason was a terrific uncle to all of his nieces and nephews and held a special place in each of their hearts. The love they shared with him and the memories they made together will remain with them throughout their lives.

Jason’s life was a reminder that a life can be meaningful in many different ways. He was loved, he was happy, and he made an impact simply by being himself. He did not have to be anyone other than Jason to leave a lasting impression on the people around him.

His family will forever remember his humor, his personality, the things he loved, and the special place he held in their lives. They will remember the laughter, the teasing, the good times, and the little moments that made him who he was.

Though Jason’s life was far too short, the memories he leaves behind will continue through the people who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
