Charleen Augusta, age 94, of Port Richey, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 24th,  2026. Her mother was Dorothy Bouck Jones.

Charleen will be remembered for her bubbly personality,  her love of family, her many friends and her cat, Mittens. She is survived by her granddaughter, Jonai Trumpler(Joseph), great grandchildren Joslyn and Jaiden and Jonai’s mother Karen Brown. Also survived by grandson, Anthony Nertney and many friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Jon Nertney.

Charleen resided in New York state until moving to Florida in 1986.  She was an Executive Secretary at the General Electric in Schenectady NY for 28 years. She was exuberant and lived life to the fullest. Always think of her when you order a pint.

She loved her family, her many friends and her cat, Mittens. Her family is grateful for the kindness and support shown to Charleen over the years.

A memorial service will be held at Dobies Funeral Home, 6616Congress Street New Port Richey, FL. on Sunday September 27 at 11:00.
