Rosemary Ann Lackowski, 75, of Hudson, Florida, passed away on September 17, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved her beyond measure and a lifetime of beautiful memories that will forever be cherished.

Rosemary was born on September 12, 1951, in Bad Axe, Michigan. She was the eldest child in a large, loving family born to Casimer T. Lackowski and Frances F. Lackowski (Polega).
Rosemary is survived by her loving siblings, Perry Lackowski (Linda) of Loveland, Colorado, Casimer Lackowski (Barbara) of Lincoln Park, Michigan, and Jacqueline  Gorkowski (James)  of Hudson, Florida and her special fur baby Sofie.
Affectionately known as “Auntie,” Rosemary was a beloved aunt to her many precious nieces and nephews: Nicole, Julia, Cass, Brandon, Amie, Kayla, Keagen, Kazmier, Bethany, and Damien. She was also a cherished great-aunt to many.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Casimer and Frances Lackowski; her beloved siblings, Diane LaDrig and Kenneth Lackowski; and her precious great-nephew, Zaiden Perez.
Rosemary dedicated more than 40 years of her life to her career as a hairdresser. She had a remarkable gift for making others feel beautiful, both inside and out. Her talents extended far beyond the salon, as she had an incredible eye for decorating, a love for cooking, and a special touch that could make anything beautiful.
To know Rosemary was to love her. She was truly one of a kind, with a heart as beautiful as she was. Generous beyond measure, she would give anything to anyone without a second thought. She was loving, caring, funny, and just a little stubborn. Above all, she was someone you could always count on. Her kindness and the love she gave so freely left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Although Rosemary never married or had children of her own, her life was filled with the love of a family who adored her. She cherished the time she spent with her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, Adelina, Ellianah, Elias, Liam & Sawyer, and the special bond she shared with each of them.
Her passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved her. While her family takes comfort in knowing she is reunited with those who went before her, they will forever miss her beautiful smile, her laughter, her warmth, and the unconditional love she gave so freely.
A celebration of life will be held in MI in 2027. Details to be shared at a later date.
