The Rev. Frank Charles Creamer Sr., known to nearly everyone simply as Father Frank, died September 23, 2026, in Palm Harbor, Florida. He was 72.
Gregarious, larger than life, and possessed of a heart to match, Frank spent his life loving people. He loved his family first and fiercely. He loved his church communities. He loved coffee, Jesus, his Harley-Davidson, and a good conversation with just about anyone.
And if you ever asked him how he was doing, chances are you already know the answer:
“Blessed, thankful and highly favored.”
Frank was born May 20, 1954, in Boone, Iowa, and grew up in the Miami area. He and his wife, Jeanne, found each other as teenagers and built a life together that spanned more than half a century, including 46 years of marriage.
Together they raised their son, Frank “Chas” Charles Creamer Jr., and later welcomed the role that brought Frank immeasurable joy: Grandpa.
His grandsons, Connor and Huxley, his beloved “boy boys,” knew a Grandpa who adored them. His love of God and family always came first for Frank, and few things made him prouder or happier than those boys.
Frank was also a priest in the truest sense of the word. His ministry included Trinity Cathedral in Miami, St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Miami, Intercession Episcopal Church in Fort Lauderdale, All Saints Episcopal Church in Tarpon Springs, and Being Christ’s Church in Tarpon Springs. Over the course of his ministry, he stood beside hundreds of families during some of the most important moments of their lives: baptisms and weddings, hospital rooms and funerals, through all the celebrations and heartbreak.
Father Frank didn’t simply talk the talk. He walked the walk.
His faith was not something reserved for Sunday mornings or the pulpit. It was reflected in how he lived, how generously he loved, and how readily he showed up for people who needed him. To countless parishioners and friends, “Father Frank” became far more than the title of their priest.
Away from the pulpit, Frank was unmistakably Frank. He loved his coffee, and he loved the open road, especially from the seat of his beloved blue 100th Anniversary Harley-Davidson Road King. He was the kind of person whose presence filled a room, whose stories were meant to be told out loud, and whose heart was rarely difficult to find.
His greatest heartbreak came in 2023 with the death of his only son, Chas. It was a loss from which Frank never truly recovered. He carried his love for his son, and the grief of losing him, for the rest of his life.
Frank is survived by his wife and lifelong love, Jeanne Creamer; his daughter-in-law, Lisa Shaw; his treasured grandsons, Connor, 13, and Huxley, 10; his brother, Harlan “Skip” Creamer, and sister-in-law, Pon Creamer; his niece, Tip Creamer; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Alice and Jay Quarles; his nephews, Christopher and William Quarles; and dozens upon dozens of friends, parishioners, and people fortunate enough to have been loved, counseled, encouraged, parented, married, baptized, comforted, prayed for, or simply befriended by Father Frank.
He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Chas, his mother, Ruth, and his father, known affectionately as Boo.
Over a lifetime in ministry, Father Frank attended and officiated more memorial services than anyone could count. He stood at the front of the church and helped families find words for people they loved when words were hardest to find.
On October 10, for the first time in hundreds of memorials, Father Frank will be the main attraction.
And somewhere in all the sadness, it’s hard not to imagine what he would say if we could ask him one more time how he’s doing.
“Blessed, thankful and highly favored.”
A celebration of Father Frank’s life will be held Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Holiday United Church of Christ.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Frank’s memory are invited to contribute to a memorial fund established for Jeanne as she begins a life she never expected to navigate, without the man who had been beside her since they were teenagers.

Father Frank was a true blessing to everyone who knew him, always there to counsel, lift up and pray for! Truly selfless and the most extraordinary man in every way. His passion for God and family were always evident in how he lived his life. I know he is with our heavenly Father who I’m sure said “Well done my good and faithful servant”. I will always have only happy and loving thoughts of our dear Father Frank. Miss Jeanne, my thoughts and prayers go out especially to you, Huxley, Conner and Lisa for Gods comfort and peace. It was a true honor to have known him.

I had many a man to man, heart to heart with Father Frank. I directed his choir, served as organist and Bible class teacher with him at Intersession. My prayers for the family. He touched many lives, mine was but one of them.

Dearest Jeannie, I know grief knows no end. It was your beloved husband who helped us through the grief of Henry’s passing. It was you and Frank who welcomed us to All Saints and even when Henry was in hospital for so long your wonderful husband would visit him, as I was working, even up to the times when he wasn’t aware of anything. I never forgot that or the time after Henry was gone and Bradley flew him up to Waterloo Iowa to walk me down the aisle I was lost and he came to marry Bradley and Melissa, kindest man I knew. People ask me about the saying on my shirt “Blessed, Thankful and Highly Favored of God” and then I tell them about an amazing Preacher, Father Frank. There are so many people up there who were waiting for him, what a joyful day for them. You know he will always look over you. God Bless Jean 🙏🛐

Dearest Jeannie, brothers, sister.
Grief and Heaven Bound,
I am heartbroken to lose our dear brother, yet our days are counted. Fr. Frank, I feel completed all God gave him to do. Loss, Grief is something we carry with us as we miss those we love while we are apart. One day heaven will open, our earthly pilgrimage will end, and we will step from the physical into the heavenly. What a joy it will be to be reunited with our dearly beloved family, soul mates, children, brothers, sisters, dear friends—all those who went before us. Now wakes us.
Thanksgiving for Fr. Frank
I pray joyfully, with warm and loving memories and a heart full of thanksgiving to Yeshua, Jesus, and our heavenly Father God, for allowing me to meet Fr. Frank at Shoresh David in 2023, and for the privilege of sitting under his care. To me, he was a wonderful a biblical teacher, counselor, pastor. A friend who would lay down his life to help those God brought across his path and placed in his care.
• HE Give Freely
Our dear brother gave himself freely, time and time again, to anyone in need. First and foremost, he was Christ Jesus’s heart, hands, and feet on this earth—God’s helping hands—and a father figure or brother to all. He joyfully reached out, bringing Christ’s compassion, voice, hands, hugs, as he touched the hearts of other to redeem, save, and heal the broken hearted. And those cast out by others.
Many came to salvation, for Fr. Frank knew that a heart and soul cannot be truly healed unless a soul is born again spiritually and redeemed. I witnessed him hold on, in a protective manner, to each person until they were strong enough to stand on their own, as God used him to rebuild many people’s lives: From death to spiritual life, with jobs, homes, and income, with food and shelter.
A Good Shepherd
He truly cared for and loved those in need. Those God placed in his care. Fr. Frank was God’s redeemed son and servant, and my brother in Christ. Privately, in biblical terms, I saw him as a good shepherd of the sheep God placed under his care. He was a blessing to All Saints Episcopal Church in Tarpon Springs and to Being Christ’s Church in Tarpon Springs.
Jeannie, and others alike, singleness is only a new beginning, way of life, as a bride of Christ Jesus. May he draw near to you. I pray for blessings, strength, peace, to come into your life. Continually working, seeking Gods perfect will in the days, years to come, to complete all Jesus laid out for you. Without wavering. May be so f to each of us as we feel the loss of our beloved pastor, friend. Your sister Dorothy Worswick, Love you all.

To know the Creamer Family is truly a blessing. I fortunately got to know Father Frank, Jeannie and Chaz at All Saints Episcopal. That church will always be my “Home” Church. I will always remember Father Frank preaching from his eagle podium and thinking this must be the way Jesus would preach. Father Frank truly had the gift of talking to God and talking about God. I remember at the end of service as we are walking out from the sermon and he would ask me why am i blessed? And I didn’t always get the answer right. But the answer was … To Be A Blessing. That is exactly what Frank was to so many people. A Blessing. Father Frank blessed me in so many ways that I will be forever grateful for. Father Frank gave my husband and I our premarital counseling and then married us. Which happy fact is September 6 and that is also Father Frank’s and Jeannie’s Wedding anniversary. As Frank would say is a God incidence. I will always be so blessed that Father Frank was able to baptize our daughter Madison which they share the same ”God incidence” too… they share the same birthday May 20th! But together with Jeannie, Connor and Huxley we got to celebrate Madison’s baptism. The baptism of Madison was so important because Madison suffered from white blood cell issues early in her childhood and Frank was always there for us. He always had Madison in his prayers and had the whole church congregation praying for our little girl.Today Madison is doing so well and continuing to get better. I have Father Frank to thank for that. I can never thank Father Frank or even Jeannie enough for what they have done for me. I will always hold Father Frank close to my heart and I will be waiting for one of his bear hugs. Rest Easy Father Frank..

Father Frank was the most Godliest man I ever knew. He didn’t just tell me, Live & Love as Jesus does…. He showed me. Father was not only a friend, he was a brother. I wouldn’t be the man I am today if it wasn’t for Father Frank….
There are friends & their is family, then there are friends that become family.
Father Frank & Jeannie are – will always be my ” FAMILY”
I can’t put in words how much your missed…..

I will miss you terribly, my brother. I am comforted knowing where you now reside and that you are reunited with Chas. RIP Father Frank.
