Toni Lynn Cataldo, age 79, lovingly known as “Tootsie” by her family, passed away on October 17, 2026, a resident of New Port Richey, FL. Born on May 31, 1947, in Wayne, Michigan, Toni was the daughter of Guy and Wynona (Eudy) Loveless. From an early age, she carried the strength, loyalty, and caring nature that would define her life. She was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose presence brought warmth and honesty to every gathering.

In 1964, Toni met the love of her life, James Cataldo. They married on April 26, 1968, and shared 58 years of devotion and partnership. Toni is survived by her loving husband, James; her daughter, Stacy Heath; her son-in-law, Chip; and her cherished grandchildren, Kiley Heath, Madison Heath, and Vincent Cataldo. She was very recently predeceased by her beloved son, Justin Cataldo. She took great pride in her family and treasured the time she spent with them. Her family was everything and her presence will always be missed.

Toni was the eldest of 7 children. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Guy, Scott, and Jonathan Loveless; and her sister, Kimberley Loveless. She is survived by her brother, Bradford Loveless, and her sister, Shanon Diller.

A graduate of Wayne High School, Class of 1965, Toni spent most of her life in Michigan, where she raised her family and built a respected career as a realtor. Her work reflected the qualities that came naturally to her: honesty, determination, and sound judgment. After retiring, she moved to New Port Richey, Florida, in 2008, where she embraced a new chapter, formed close-knit friendships, and became part of a community she greatly enjoyed.

Toni knew how to enjoy life. She was an avid reader, a devoted bingo player, a wonderful cook, and loved to travel.  She had fun with her bunco group and enjoyed the many friendships she formed along the way. Those who knew Toni will remember her straightforward advice and generous spirit. She could make people laugh, tell them exactly what she thought, and stand beside them when they needed support. She gave freely of her time and, most importantly, her love.

Though her absence will be deeply felt, the love she shared will live on. Toni will be greatly missed and forever remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know and love her.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gulfside Hospice.
