Peter Lawrence Ryan, 84, of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away on October 25th, 2026.  He is survived by his son Peter Lawrence Ryan, Jr.

Peter was a proud Vietnam Marine veteran who also served as a police officer in Brielle, New Jersey.  Upon moving to Florida, he was the assistant manager at the Dunedin Community Center until the early 80’s where he became a licensed activities director and the majority of that employment was at College Harbor in St. Petersburg.  Being involved with Big Brothers, he was named Big Brother Of The Year and received national recognition and was a guest speaker with NFL legend Lee Roy Selmon.  An avid lover of good Italian food (specially sausage and peppers).  He was most happy boating fast and having salt wind blowing through his hair.
