Janice L Miner passed away Sunday, March 29, 2020 at the age of 76 at her home in Seminole. Janice was born on September 14, 1943 in Utica NY. The daughter of Thelma (Mitchell) Sykes and John Ramsey.
Janice has been a long-time resident of FL. She retired from the Florida VA as a Facility Revenue Technician. She was most proud of providing customer service to the veterans. Prior to that, Janice worked as a Medical Admin/Clerical Support Specialist at the Medical Examiner’s Office. She was fascinated by the science she discovered there.
Janice had a great sense of humor (when asked, she would tell you she was only 59…again) and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She liked playing cards and always had a puzzle she was working on.
Janice is survived by her daughter Kathleen Parent (husband James), grandchildren Kevin Parent (wife Meghan), Amie Parent (Fiancé Adam), Aaron Casey (wife Nina), Maile Casey. and three great grandchildren, three sisters, two brothers, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Janice is preceded in death by her husband Gerald Miner, two sons Steven and Bruce Casey. mother, father and one brother.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
