Sweeting, Debra A.
60, formerly of Stamford, CT passed away on August 13, 2020. Although Debra spent the last year in Florida she also had a house in British Columbia, Canada where she spent the majority of her life.

She was a former CNA, Paramedic and spent time working in the ER. One of Debra’s favorite things about being a paramedic was riding around in the ambulance.

A few of Debra’s hobbies included gardening, fostering animals, hiking and even befriending a black bear that frequently visited her backyard who she eventually named Boo! She also loved spending time with her dog Madison who was always by her side.

Debra is survived by her daughter Christine Sweeting of Clearwater, mother Beverly Dwan of New Port Richey, 2 grandchildren Natalie Martinez and Gregory Kunew and sister Shari Valenzano and her husband Joseph of Connecticut along with their children Joey, Craig and Alex.

A celebration of Debra’s life will be held on September 2, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Dobies Funeral Home 6616 Congress Street, New Port Richey.
