Charles Elmore Roberts Jr departed this life on August 12, 2020 in Dunedin, Florida.
Charles was born on July 22, 1952 in Clearwater, Florida to Charles E. and Alicia Roberts, Sr. He attended Union Academy Elementary in Tarpon Springs and Chase Memorial in Dunedin. He spent some of his high school years in Los Angeles, before returning home and graduating with honors from Tarpon Springs High School in 1970. Charles attended Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) in Tallahassee. He worked at Yakle Lumber for many years and retired from Neilson Global Technology.
It was in Tallahassee that Charles met his wife, Priscilla. The couple married on July 20, 1984 in Clearwater.
Charles was predeceased in death by his parents, Charles and Alicia Roberts.
He leaves behind his wife Priscilla, a stepson, Dorian Aldridge, both of Clearwater, four grandchildren, siblings Karen (Johnny) Simon of Orlando, Jacqueline Saunders and Patrick Saunders, both of Tarpon Springs and a host of grieving nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and life-long friends.
