79, of Holiday, Florida passed away July 15, 2020, with an acute myocardial infarction due to atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.
She was born to Ralph W Alexander and Violette Edythe Lenora Holm, December 14, 1940 in Owatonna, Minnesota. Jane graduated from high school in Owatonna, Minnesota. She later received a BA in Occupational Therapy from the University of Minnesota.
She is survived by her brother James Alexander of Minneapolis and her sister Ann Berglund of Henderson, Nevada. She is survived by eight children: Peter Slezak of Rapid City, South Dakota; William Slezak of Reno, Nevada; Donald Jellings of Holiday, Florida; Amy Walton of Payson, Utah; Christopher Jellings of New Port Richey, Florida; Melissa Long of Alachua, Florida; Matthew Jellings of Largo, Florida, Angela Deckert of Palm Harbor, Florida.
She is survived by fifteen grandchildren: Andrew Slezak, Nicholas Slezak, Rachel Slezak, Wade Jellings, Savannah Jellings, Mace Jellings, Zane Jellings, Adelyn Walton, Valory Walton, Elizabeth Walton, Danielle Walton, Bridger Walton, Jacob Long, Carson Long, Natalie Long.
Jane loved music. She participated in church and public choirs as a member and a director. She also played cello for orchestras whenever she could. She loved her family and especially babies. She was proud of her Scandinavian heritage. She always strived to impart her love of these activities to her children and grandchildren.
Viewing Ceremony will be held on Wednesday July 22, 2020 at 11am at Dobies Funeral Home in Holiday, Florida. The burial will take place at 1 p.m. at Curlew Pioneer Cemetery 2213 Cathedral Drive, Palm Harbor, FL 34683
