Linda Armstrong Tanner, 72, of New Port Richey died October 29th of complications due to Covid. She is survived by her sons, Stephen Andrew and Scott Tanner, daughters Stacy Tanner and Lori Haulton, her son-in-law, Joe Haulton her grandchildren Jory, Katy, and Lucy Haulton, her siblings Larry Armstrong and Peggy Armstrong, a sister-in-law Janie Palmer Armstrong, two nieces Kari and Jennifer, one nephew Michael, three grand-nieces, Jordan, Brooke, and Taylor, two grand-nephews, Harlynn and Westen many other loving family members and friends. She was born in Decatur, Illinois and moved to Florida in 1960. She attended Polk Junior College. She later met Frank Tanner to whom she was married for twenty-nine years. They settled in New Port Richey in 1972 to raise their family. She was passionate about her career as an instructional assistant with the Pasco County School system where she impacted the lives of hundreds of students at Mittye P. Locke, Deer Park, Mary Giella, and Calusa Elementary schools. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, teacher, wife, grandmother, colleague, and friend. She enjoyed reading, watching films, card games, watching sports, and travelling. Her celebration of life will be held on November 7th at 1:00pm at Shelter 5 at Anderson Park 39699 US-19 N Tarpon Springs, FL 34689.
