SKINNER, Roseann Marie – age 82, of Holiday, FL., originally from Flint, MI, died Sunday, December 6, 2020 at her residence. Roseann was born in Flint, MI on October 7, 1938, the daughter of the late Patrick and Roselyn Hazel. A graduate of Grand Blanc High School, Grand Blanc, MI. She married Donald Skinner on April 28, 1956. She was a member of UAW Local #659 for 30 years, member of Freedom Cross Ministry, and a graduate of Faith Tech International Bible School. Her passion was Karaoke singing and dancing, fashioning the all so popular “Rosie Dance.†A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm, Sunday, December 13, 2020 at VFW #10167, 4919 Bartelt, Holiday, FL. A Michigan memorial to follow at a later date. Surviving are: 4 daughters: Dawn (Duane) McLain, Vicki Ackerman, Lisa Firman, Robyn Parker, 1 son: James Skinner, 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. 2 Sisters: Rita Collie, Kendra (James) Metcalf, 2 brothers: Patrick (Kaye) Hazel, Ron (Laureen) Hazel, 1 Sister-in-law, Toni Dabbs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Skinner; parents, Patrick Hazel and Roselyn Dennis. In lieu of flowers, donation envelopes will be available for Flint YWCA Safehouse and/or VFW #10167.
