It is with deep sorrow and pain we regret to announce that on February 11th, 2021 at 10:39PM, our super hero, David Castle, lost his harrowing battle with cancer. David brought such love and joy to family, friends, and entire communities far and wide. David was so young and will live on forever in the hearts and lives of his mother, Tammy Miller; her partner and his second mom, Bethany Acquaro; grandmother, Valerie Miller; uncle, Chris Miller and wife, Holly; siblings, Tyler Moffitt and wife Michelle, Riley, Caleb, Dylan, Haley; and his loving dog, Hero.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to David's Gofundme (link below) for a foundation that is being set up in David's name to support cancer families.

I'm so sorry for your family's loss. Your son was a true fighter and a pure heart of gold when he smiled you could feel the warmth in his soul and see the love in his eyes he had for his family and for life. He will live on with the Legacy he left behind for years and years to come and in the hearts of everyone that got to meet him or ever heard of his story. Thank you for being a brave mom and sharing your son with the world he will for ever be a super hero and are hearts.

Condolences to Tammy, Beth, Valerie, Megan, all the siblings & family. I know there just are no words to describe your pain. I pray for peace & comfort through your days of grief to come. I know that while my son, Juan was going through his own battle with this evil disease he was truly heartbroken that David was going through it at such a very young age. David has left a huge impact in his community, he was so loved , cherished and admired and a true hero in his own right. He has earned his wings. I know he is in Heaven now, no longer suffering and looking after his family & those left fighting the battle. RIP sweet David. You were a precious gift to all those you touched here on this earth but God needed you more. Your death will not have been in vain ♥️

It's never easy to find the right words to say for such an amazing young man who inspired and brought out the best in so many who loved him, including myself. I loved him with all my heart, and I always will.
I'm a childhood cancer survivor myself, and that's how David and I became good buddies. I would write letters to him to help quell his fears of going to the doctor, and to hopefully put a smile on that beautiful face of his. He meant a lot to me, and today, my heart is shattered. I will always love him, and he will always be my brother.
JerBear loves you, David. You're free now.
