Ann Marie Cederle, loving mother, daughter, wife, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2021, surrounded by her children. She lived her life in the Bronx, Lindenhurst, Long Island, and Bayonet Point, Fl.

Throughout her life, Ann Marie worked at several occupations, including nearly 25 years as a para-professional in the Hudson Middle School. She retired at age 75 and spent her time helping to raise her grandchildren.

She was born Ann Marie Kiernan in New York City on July 29, 1933, the daughter of John and Ann (Noone) Kiernan. In 1954, Ann Marie married Andrew Cederle, a New York City policeman. The couple moved to Lindenhurst, Long Island, and raised their five children there. In 1979, they moved to Bayonet Point, Fl. Her husband passed away in 1989. She was also predeceased by 2 daughters: Ann Marie Mendez and Laura Fiorillo, as well as a great grandchild.

Ann Marie is survived by two daughters: Kathy DeFillippo and her husband Bob of Roxbury, N.J., and Clearwater, Fl.; Carrie Teegarden and her husband Mike of Hudson, Fl., and a son, Andrew Cederle, and his wife Lisa of Bluemont, Va. Ann Marie is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be arranged at a later date. The family said contributions may be made in Ann Marie’s name to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
