John Thomas O’Neil, Jr., 46, of New Port Richey, Florida passed away on April 9, 2021. John was born on January 5, 1975, in Somerville, Massachusetts to his biological parents, Janice Blaisdell of Somerville, Massachusetts, and the late John T. O’Neil Sr. John was a former manager of Outback, Firestone, and Pep Boys. He is survived by his biological mother, Janice Blasdell; parents, Catherine and Kenneth Sheldon; fiancé, Brandy Barton; children, Raeven O’Neil, Brayden O’Neil, Parker O’Neil; stepchildren, Brooke Swanson, Riley Swanson, Breven Barton; siblings, James O’Neil, Billy Joe Comeau, Courtney Styles, Jennifer O’Neil, Brandon O’Neil, Shane O’Neil; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. John was preceded in death by his biological father, John T. O’Neil Sr., and stepdaughter, Genesa Barton;
John loved to fish with his friends, fiancé, and children. He was a lifelong sports fan of the Boston Red Sox, The Patriots, and The Celtic’s. He was always quick to help out anyone in need. He was a self-proclaimed rock star on the game, “Rock Band” as many know (LOL), and a dancing star on the “Just Dance” game. John was a diehard Star Wars fan, starting from childhood all the way to the last movie.
A Celebration of Life for John is to follow after the viewing. The Celebration of Life will be held at the Peace Hall at Sims Park in New Port Richey, Florida, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
