James George Grady, of Tarpon Springs, Florida, born on September 30, 1943, went to be with our Heavenly Father on May 18, 2021. He was a graduate of St. Peter’s University, The Jesuit University of New Jersey. Jim was an executive in the tire and automotive industry since graduation from St Peters. Jim’s greatest achievement and joy in life were that of a loving and devoted husband to Vanessa (Etherton), whom he wed in 1993; and as the world’s greatest Dad to Jim (Lisa) of Fl, Cathi Lynch (John) of Va, Michael (Toni) of Fl, and Chad of Fl. Jim also loved being a grandfather. He had 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Jim was the proud big brother of Jack (Noreen) of NY, Peter (Gail) of NY, Paul of FL, MaryAnne Lane (Cliff) of FL, and Tom (Linda) of FL.  Jim was a huge NY Giants fan and an avid golfer.  He loved crossword puzzles, cooking, grilling, and the cocktail hour he and Vanessa shared every evening. Jim was blessed with many friends and will be missed by all. He was a beloved soul. 🙏🏻❤️

A private celebration of life memorial service will be held in his honor on June 10, 2021, Wentworth Golf Club in Tarpon Springs, FL.

Jim will be missed, his memory will be felt for many years to come. He was an energy, a large presence and a great time to be had. He made everyone feel welcomed, appreciated and respected. He loved conversations with friends and family alike. We always looked forward to the next get together. Jim have a glass of wine for us, until we meet again my friend…….keep smilng😉

I miss you tremendously, buddy. It seems more like 3 months than the 3 weeks since I got the call from Vanessa. I miss our couple of times a week at Mugs at our table, I miss working with you on Sundays and the banter that went with it. I miss your friendship most of all! Football season at Mugs just wont be the same. Good bye, my friend.
