David W. Freeze 83, passed away on May 16, 2021. David was born on February 26, 1938. A lifelong resident of Tampa he often shared fond memories of growing up in Seminole Heights. While attending Hillsborough High School he met his future wife Christine (Tindale).  Graduating in 1955, he spent a year at the University of Tampa before enlisting and serving in the US Army Reserve for 8 years.  In 1957 he began a 29-year career at GTE.  After retiring, he went to work with Christine at her cookie business. David enjoyed singing, traveling, collecting antiques, and researching his family history, of which he was very proud.  He is survived by his children, David (Mei), Greg (Kris), and Deanne; and grandchildren, Matthew, John (Allison), Logan, and Katie. He is predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Christine, and parents Harry and Lucile. David was loved and will be missed by his family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 12, 11 am, at Temple Terrace United Methodist Church.
