Albert grew up in my home. Or I should say, I purchased his families home after he grew up. I was fortunate to have Al and Toni, his sister and her husband over for drinks one evening. I befriended Al on Facebook after that and watched a part of his life – fast cars, loud guns and Roxi. A man of action.

Roxi was for me the best part. A dog knows the soul of a man and Roxi knew Al. She loved him. That says a lot about a man. I have a feeling that when Roxi passes, Al will waiting at the Rainbow Bridge.

I’ll miss him.

Al reached out and touched many lives, mine included. He was a man full of love, kindness, and unfettered joy. Al showed me that you can live a life of excitement and energy while remaining tender and holding true love in your heart for everyone around you. A good man, a man larger than life, and a friend to all. Al is with the Father, now – we love you, Big Al!

My son Allie passed away at the young age of 54 yrs old, 2 months after being diagnosed with Melanoma that spread to his brain. He suffered a lot, he had terrible headaches, swelling in his legs, and sores. This was such a shock to our family. He loved his family so much and also his dog Roxie who rarely left his side. He had a heart of gold and loved helping people. I remember him driving back and forth across the bridges in the middle of the night to see if anyone was broke down on the side of the road. Or surprising a young mother with a carload of kids by paying for her gas.
He had a great sense of humor! He was one of a kind and I miss him terribly๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข

Allie is my second cousin. His mom is my first cousin (our mothers were sisters). We are a very close family, and it hurts to the core to lose him, especially at such a young age. Aside from being the most gorgeous little boy your ever laid eyes on, he was very sweet, and lots of fun. As a child, he would play with his action figures and one day I heard him saying “Fit Fan!” with great emphasis to those toys. So Allie became the Fit Fan Man. Every time I’d see him, I’d say how’s my fit fan man and he would give me the biggest grin. As an adult, it was always a joy to see Allie at family gatherings, and he will be missed dearly. Words cannot truly express the feeling of loss. Allie is always in our hearts and it will be a joyous day for each of us when we reunite with him in heaven. Rest in Peach Allie. All my love, Cousin Jill.
