We are so sorry for your loss. Jeff was always such a happy and friendly person. We worked with him at Seven Springs Elementary for many years. We were shocked to hear the news.
We hope you can remember more of the good times than bad. We hope your friends and family can help during this trying time. God speed Jeff.

This is still so hard to believe. Jeff was one of the best and always kept us laughing. Roger and I will deeply miss our Sunday meet ups with Jeff and the Chasco crew for beer, wings and football. His giant hat that he wore at work, his contagious laugh and always cracking jokes. Such a wonderful guy who will forever be missed.
God speed Jeff and fly high!

Julie and boys,
We are all still in disbelief and miss Jeff terribly at Chasco. Even our youngest students shared specific sweet memories. Three of my own are devastated, as they too have the best memories of Coach Collins from their years at CHES.
He was always fun and engaging and he cared enough to ask about my family regularly. I’ll miss the chats we’d have as I’d bring my students to the PE area. I already miss the thought of meeting up to cheer on our Bucs (as Kim said). My prayers and thoughts are with each of you, and of course Jeff’s brother, parents, nephews, and friends. May you find comfort in each other.

I am so sorry to hear this. We are morning the loss of my brother in law Leander to this same sick disease. My heart is already broken. I’m praying that Jesus will comfort your hearts and give you peace. I just don’t understand why God took two wonderful young men so soon. 💔
Love and prayers to you all.

Dear Julie & Family, I’ve tried to leave this message on more than one occasion. I just didn’t know what to say. My heart breaks for you and all of Jeff’s family and friends as well as my own heart. I knew Jeff from CHES. I have been there since day one 20 years ago and Jeff was a big part of my daily life while I was there. I retired in May, but my CHES family will always be my 2nd family as was Jeff. I will treasure my memories of all the conversations we have had through the years, working together (especially when I was asked to sub for PE), field days, etc. Jeff had a heart of gold for his students as well as his coworkers. It will certainly be hard to fill his large shoes on the PE field at CHES! This wonderful man will be missed by many! Know that my prayers for strength and peace are with you at this time and that God and your guardian angel will guide you through life. And know that our faith tells us of the hope of being together again someday. We know Jeff is in Heaven doing one sport or another with the realms of angels and has the biggest cheerleader ever as Jesus watches from the sideline! 🙏🏼 Love & blessings, Barb
