Kuzmich, Rosalie “Rose”, born June 25, 1930 in Mason, West Virginia, to John and Lena Ross, passed away April 11, 2018 in Spring Hill, Florida with her family by her side.

Rose graduated from Wellsville High School. After high school, she met our father, Leonard, on a blind date. They were married on July 1, 1950.

In 1952, Rose and Leonard had their first daughter, Debbie. Two years later, in 1954, Cindy was born. Janis was born in 1957, Randy in 1959 and Steve in 1960.

Rose was a stay-at-home mother until she went to work as a cashier at the Masons IGA in Wellsville, Ohio. She worked until her health forced her to retire.

In 1968, Leonard and Rose moved their family to Stagecoach Road in Calcutta. They enjoyed many years with their neighbors and friends. Rose became the neighborhood mother to all the children in the neighborhood. She enjoyed the many volleyball games and parties and all her children's friends.

Rose was an active member of the Eagles Club of Lisbon until she retired to Florida.

Rose had 6 grandchildren, Shawn (Missy) Lewis, Chris and Brett Powell, Melissa (Ed) Myers Wittig, Steven (Christina) and Kyle Kuzmich; 10 great grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren; and 1 step great great grandchild.

Rose is survived by her husband, Leonard; her 3 daughters, Debbie (Jack) Henderson, Cindy (Bob) Powell and Janis (Randy) Myers; and 2 sons, Randy (Tammy) Kuzmich and Steve Kuzmich.

Friends may visit with the family at Dobies Funeral Home in Tarpon Springs from 2 to 4 pm on Monday, April 15th. Funeral services will follow the viewing at 4 pm officiated by Pastor Edward Kellum of the United Methodist Church in Tarpon Springs.

Donations can be made in Rose's name to the American Heart Association.

Our hearts go out to all the family. Grandma was a special woman. She loved her family, and always put them first. We will all miss her every day, but we know she is now at peace with the Lord. Watch over the family Grandma. We will always love you.
