Mrs. Patti Houston, 59 of Spring Hill, Florida passed away peacefully on Monday, September 6, 2021.

Patti was born in Port Huron, Michigan, on July 12, 1962, to Deana (Hand) Serna and Robert Hand.  She moved from Michigan to Florida early in life and lived in and around the Hudson area until they built their dream home in Spring Hill, Florida.

She was affectionately called Aunt Pity Pat by her nieces, great-nieces, and nephews. She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, Kyleigh, family, and friends. She loved to travel, was always up for an adventure, loved to laugh, and always, always had a smile on her face.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Deana Serna; her sister-in-law, Jeanette Houston Bennett; her brother-in-law, Dennis, and his wife, Sue Houston.

Survivors include her husband who together would have celebrated 37 years of marriage on September 14, 2021, Robert Houston, their son, Travas Houston (Rabeka Briggs), and a granddaughter Kyleigh Briggs all of Spring Hill, FL; her father, Robert Hand of Indiana; her brother, Bobby Hand and his daughter Emily of Michigan; a brother-in-law, Monroe Bennett, a niece, Tammy Bennett and her daughter Breeli Crosby all of Blackshear, GA; nephews, Mark Bennett of Savannah, GA; Greg Houston, wife Mindy, their daughters Madison and Jennifer and son Joey of Enterprise, AL; CJ Houston, wife Toni and their daughter, Katelyn of New Brockton, AL.

A memorial service for Aunt Pity Pat will be held Saturday, September 18, 2021, at 1:00 pm.  The Memorial will be held at Dobies Funeral Home on 9944 Hudson Ave., Hudson, FL 34669.  All are invited to attend.
