Raymond Joseph Pranske, born on September 18, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at his beautiful home in Timber Greens surrounded by his family.  He lived in Florida for the last 35 years.  Ray’s career included multiple positions in the field of education including 25 years as a college administrator at St. Pete Junior College.  In his retirement, Ray loved to travel, walk, play golf and spend time with his family including his beautiful wife of fifty years, Joyce, daughter, Tanya, son-in-law, Mike, and his pride and joy, grandsons, Ryan and Griffin.  Ray’s wonderful legacy will live on through them.  Ray was also involved in the VFW and was very proud of his service to our country during the Vietnam war.  He was an honorable, personable, kind, and generous man who made everyone feel special.  Ray is survived by his wife, Joyce, daughter, Tanya, grandsons, Ryan and Griffin, sisters, Kay, Jean, and Kathy, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Ray and his infectious, beautiful smile will be deeply missed by all.
