Marilyn was the love of my life for more than 57 years. I’m absolutely devastated and I don’t truly know how I will get along without her.
We met when we were young, fell in love, had a family, two boys, my youngest son Keith (and his wife Desiree) who gave us 4 Grandchildren, Ashley, Matthew, Nicholas and Adrianna and a Great-granddaughter Charli Grace & my eldest son Louis (and Mary) who gave us three Step-Grandchildren, Gerard, Sarah and Emily.
I’m sure Marilyn’s entire extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins and her many, many friends (from both New
York and Florida) are going to miss Marilyn as much as I do.
Although I am a grown man of almost 80 years, who has the fantastic support of his family and friends, I am finding it extremely difficult to contain the sporadic outbursts of tears that shake me to my core.
I believe the marriage vows which I spoke 57+ years ago did not adequately express how I felt then and how I feel now….”to love and cherish, until death do us part” doesn’t even come close… I believe in my heart that that my love for Marilyn will never end.

Sorry for the DiLorenzo family’s loss. Many moons ago she was my second mom. Used to line us up for a one handed group slap in case we did anything wrong.

To the DiLorenzo Family,
It’s with a heavy heart that we are all saying goodbye to Marilyn. Still can’t believe that this is even happening. Allen she loved you more everyday. She told me she hit the jackpot with you as her husband, and she did. Louis you made her so happy especially when you visited. Or just called for no reason.
She loved all her family & friends !
I was lucky enough to call her my friend ( not just a cousin through marriage) . I will miss talking to her & was hoping to be her casino buddy now that we’re here in Florida.
Heaven just got a new Angel 😇
Rest In Peace my friend 🙏

Marilyn was a force of nature. She loved and lived at 110 percent, never holding back. Completely dedicated to husband and family, everyone whose life was touched by hers knows she will always be with us.

Marilyn was a one in a million jewel. Her irrepressible spirit made each and every day a joy when you were with her. She will be terribly missed but we will continue to feel her love every time her name is mentioned which will be for a very long time.
Our normal, routine Thursday breakfast outing will be the first test and we are sure that the day will be blue day. But we will have Allen and we will rely on each other for consolation.
We will always love her.

Al and family, I only met Marilyn once, but remember Al talking about her over the years we worked together. She was blessed with a beautiful supportive, loving family, and you were blessed with a beautiful wife, mom, grandma, and great-grandma. God Bless all of you. May the memories you made with Marilyn help see you through this difficult time.
