Lillian was a unique, one of a kind strong woman. She raised her son during WWII , working in a bomb factory. She was our Rosie the Rivitor . She volunteered with the West Pasco Historical Society and was a proud member and past officer of the Pithlochaskotee Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She died 2 days shy of her 99th birthday and always looked at the bright side of life. She was an inspiration to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Our DAR Chapter will miss her greatly. She is now at peace, free of pain in her heavenly home.

Lil was my Mother’s cousin. Lil’s father, Harry Miller, and my Mother’s father, Elmer Miller, were brothers. Lil grew up in West Milford, NJ and moved to FL in 1970 with her husband George Kreps. My Mother moved close by in 1973. Lil and my Mother spent Holidays together and played Bingo regularly forming a lasting bond. Lil entertained my young sons when they went to visit their Grandmother. Disney World, Wekewachie, playing Yahtzee, or going out to dinner was as much fun for Lil as it was for the boys. Lil also visited our family in Oklahoma and attended family out of state weddings. I will remember Lil’s love of travel, love of country music, and playing games from cards to dominos to Uno. Lil remained happy throughout her life, enjoyed people and was always ready to take a car ride. A true indicator she was a Miller!

My condolences.. I have her badge for the DAR the badge the pins and the medal as well as the ribbon on wonderful shape. If anyone of the family members would like to get this back it was found on some trash and I’ve kept it for the last couple years..I’m trying to reach a family member that would like to possibly keep this as it is part of American history as well as your family history. Please let me know you can email me at [email protected]..thank you so much.
