Karen was always my sister. As they started dating in high school, she was a major part of my life since I was a teen. Loved by all, generous and loving to all, she beat cancer 3 years ago, and before that, spent a lifetime traveling the world with her loving husband, my brother, Chip, and a large group of lifelong friends, who were mostly also colleagues. They saw the world, had amazing adventures, and always, Karen was ready for the next one. She is loved deeply, and will be missed deeply forever.

Karen was such a sweet, cheerful soul and a joy to all her friends. She has left us too soon and will be so missed. Her memory is a true blessing.
