Wilcox, William H. (Bill), 95, of Gainesville, Florida, was born on July 27th, 1926 in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Emma H. and Howard S. Wilcox. Bill was a veteran of World War II and served in the US Navy. He was a member of the Florida Naval Sailors Association, American Legion Paradise Post 79, and the US LST Association. Bill leaves behind his wife of 27 years, Jenny T. Wilcox.
Bill leaves daughters Jeannette; adopted daughter Yuchen; a son Douglas; two grandsons, four granddaughters, three great-grandsons, and two great-granddaughters.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday April 8th, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Dobies Funeral Home, located at 6616 Congress St, New Port Richey, Florida 34653. The memorial service will be held on Friday April 8th, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the same location. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
