Betty V. Jordan Walsh, born November 29th, 1921 in Gary, IN, passed away peacefully on February 28th, 2022 in Winston Salem, NC where she resided with her family. A former resident of Tarpon Springs, FL, Betty was a Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Great-Great Grandmother. Betty lived a long blessed life of 100 years. Survived by youngest daughter Rita L. Walsh Inman; Son-in-law David R. Inman; Grandchildren Richard Walsh, spouse Cheryl Walsh, Amanda Inman, Brent Inman, spouse Katherine Surman Inman, Nichole Inman Cortes, spouse Juan Cortes. Great-grandchildren Samantha Walsh, Elyse Lindsay, Jacob Lindsay, Lukas Lindsay, Gabriella Inman, Aidan Inman, Castiel Cortes; Great-great grandchild Luna Walsh. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband Richard F Walsh; children Richard Walsh, Loretta Walsh Rice, Grandchild Suzie Rice; and many friends.

Betty was a woman of strong faith and many talents. She was a very artistic woman with an eye for beauty, loved to paint, sew, crochet, bowl, swim, and travel. She also loved coffee, pie, ice cream, and all things sweet. She was always a very strong, independent, active person even in her final days. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Services will be held to celebrate Betty’s long blessed life at Dobies Funeral Home located at  701 E Tarpon Ave, Tarpon Springs, FL 34689  on Monday, March 14th, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. Service starts at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow at the conclusion of the visitation.
