Age 75 of Colden, NY and Holiday, FL, entered into rest on March 5th, 2022, following a short illness. Donald was a graduate of Amherst High School and Indiana State University. He was a 22-year Navy Seabee veteran and owner of Auto Electric Company of Buffalo, NY.

Survived by his loving wife Ruth Grandits; son John M. Grandits of Newbury, OH; stepchildren Jennifer Zasowski, Eric (Amy) Williams, Andrew (Heather) Williams. Predeceased by loving parents John L. and Esther Grandits. Dear brother of Susan (Joseph) Bruder, John J. (Edie) Grandits, Carol Martin (deceased), Irene Grandits (deceased). Also survived by grandchildren John L. Grandits, Kayla, Anthony, Kaylie, Zander, Leandrea, McKynzi, Eric, Timmy, and great-granddaughter Penelope Grandits.

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A celebration of Donald’s life will be held in the future in Buffalo, NY, at the convenience of the family.
