John Paul Kasabula

John P. Kasabula passed away after a courageous battle with Cancer on March 26, 2022, in Hudson Florida. He was born in Worcester Massachusetts on November 15, 1941, to John C. and Claire C. (Bolduc) Kasabula.  He is predeceased by his wife of 53 years Patricia (Fournier) Kasabula, and a sister Janice Wickham of Albany N.Y.

He leaves four children Richard (Karen) Kasabula of Oklahoma, Janice (Alan) Zavorskas of New Hampshire, Barbara (Steven) Stokowski of Texas and Theresa (Mike) Merten also of Texas.  He leaves 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren along with nieces and nephews.

John (Kas) proudly served in the United States military for 39 years. In both the U.S. Army and Air Force for 20 years and the Air National Guard for 19 years.  He retired in 1998 at the rank of Chief Master Sgt. (E-9).  While serving in the military he was awarded numerous medals and shields.  He received the Meritorious Service, Air Force Commendation and Achievement, Good Conduct, National Defense Service, Korea Defense Service and Arm Forces Reserve Medals.  He also was awarded the Tactical Air Command, Desert Shield, American Flag & U.S. Air Force and 44th Artillery NIKE Hercules Shields.

John was an active member of  the V.F.W., American Legion and the ELKS and Eagles organizations.  A private burial will be at the Bushnell National Cemetery.  The family invites anyone wishing to make a memorial donation may do so to the National Kidney Foundation in Memory of CMSGT John P. Kasabula.

I will miss you Kas, my long time friend since we were in Burncoat jr. high together,and you married my best friend Pat.
