Dear Scott:
Your sense of humor shows even on the day your wake is: this Friday, which is April Fool’s Day!!! Many memories have come forward of you this last week! Your VW Beetle filled with bread. Nickname of “Tish”. Retrieving my Dad’s baseball uniforms from the attic. Hatching an egg. Many car rides and times on the boat. Summers at Echo Lake and at Fred Shores and Jones Beach. Taking Grandpa to unemployment. Don Connors car adventures. DPHS memories. And many more!!!
You will be missed by many yet not forgotten. Your sense of humor and story telling will provide comfort during the sorrowful days.
Love from your cousin

Gablenz Family,

I was shocked and saddened when I saw the obituary online today! I enjoyed working with Scott at the bus garage and loved getting to know all of you. What a great guy with a super sense of humor and a big heart! I lost my Dad in October and know exactly what you mean when you say “ Our family is grateful to know that Scott is comfortable and at peace”. That was my saving grace too! Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. The world has lost another great person but heaven is very lucky! Hold tight to the wonderful memories.
