Panetta, Vincent L., Jr., 64, of Holiday, FL, passed away July 8, 2018. He is survived by son, David and his fiancee, Ana; mother, Lucy Panetta; sisters, Margaret, Louise and Joanne; nieces and nephews; wife, Carol Panetta; sweetheart, Jane Fazio; and her children, Janine and Victor Fenton and Robert Munson; and two grandchildren. He was employed over 30 years at Mid Hudson Psychiatric Center. A day won't go by that he will not be missed by everyone's life that he touched. Service to be held Friday, July 20, 11 AM at Church of St. Joseph, 149 Cottage Street, Middletown, NY. A celebration of his life will be held July 21 from 2 to 5 PM at the American Legion in Middletown, NY.

He was the most gentle man, with much humor and showed so much care to his patients every day. In a place where being nice to patients is looked down upon by most of his peers, he didn't care. Beautiful person that touched my life in many ways.I will always remember him with fondness. Jane, my heart goes out to you and your family. I wish I was able to be with you. My sincere condolences to Vinny's family and friends. We were class mates at Burke Catholic High School, Goshen, NY,class of 1971, and he would always put a smile on everyone's face. Just found out about Vinnie’s passing. We also were classmates at Burke in Goshen. He was a great guy and always left us with a smile, made us glad to talk with him.
