My heart is broken, but filled with so many wonderful memories. Aunt Freda, you were my ROCK my go to, my everything ♥ thank you for making my life worth it…I will miss you everyday and will find that special star in the sky that belongs to you and me. Give my dad, brother and nephew a hug and make everyone laugh and be happy up there. I can hear the angels dancing above. You earned your wings, fly high and strong!!!
Save room for me in your circle of jokes..see you on the other side. RIP LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU SO MUCH ❤ Kathy watts

My deepest sympathies to the family of “our” crazy sweet Freda. She made you laugh on your worst day. I still remember walking into the front office of PHMS, to see her sitting at her desk, a telephone receiver in each ear, helping a student standing at her desk….without missing a beat of any of the three! PHMS was never the same after she and George Tosh retired. Singing over the intercom, ala Marlina Dietrich, “Falling in love again,” or announcing, “The Eagle has landed,” notifying everyone that our paychecks were in our mailbox! The very best, though was on the last day of school for the school year, she would blast, “The Hallelujah Chorus,” over the intercom. You made us laugh, Freda, until tears rolled down our faces. Now the tears are rolling down my face, not at your humor, but because you have left this earthly home to be welcomed back home by your Creator. Heaven will never be the same! You were a humerus Angel on earth, and now, I can only imagine what you are doing with a new body and wings! We will sorely miss you. “God be with you ‘til we meet again.”

Jo and I want to express our deepest sympathy to Cathy and her family for the loss of your mother. We have a lot of beautiful memories that Freda made for us when we were actively involved with Tarpon Springs Elementary and the PTA. I can still hear Freda calling my office on behalf of Mr. Tosh and singing to me the song Mrs. Robinson: “And here’s to you, Mrs. Robinson – Jesus loves you more than you will know_ Whoa, whoa, whoa ……” She was always an upbeat person and a pleasure to deal with. We solved many problems and she always added some humor to each situation. As the days and weeks pass, may the love of family and friends carry you through your grief. We will continue to keep you and your family members in our thoughts and prayers as the family deals with this loss. John and Jo Robinson Tarpon Springs, FL

Freda made the day a happier one for teachers at Palm Harbor Middle School. Sometimes, out of the blue, she’d sing over the intercom. Often she’d play a joke or two on the principal. If she felt tension within the staff, she’d ease it with a comic remark. After she retired, she made up her own Christmas cards to send to us teachers every year. We loved her. We will sorely miss her.
