Ludwig Helmut Wenderoth, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2022, surrounded by his loving children and grandchildren.
Lud was born in Bremen Germany in 1940 and his family emigrated to New York in 1952. After serving in the United States Army, he met and married the love of his life, Barbara, and together they raised 3 children. In 1987, they moved to New Port Richey, FL to enjoy a slower pace. Lud worked in the tire industry both in New York and Florida, retiring in 2005. In their later years, Lud and Barbara were surrounded by wonderful friends and neighbors at their home at Seven Springs Golf and Country Club. Preceded in death by his bride of 59 years, Barbara in January 2021, Lud is survived by his children, Deb Monti (Bob), Lud Wenderoth, Arlene Wenderoth, and six grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sisters, Helga McCue and Sue Bloodnick (Marty).
Lud and Barbara will be put to rest together at Bay Pines National Cemetery on May 4th, at 1:00 pm.

My deepest condolences to Lud and Barbara’s children and grandchildren. I hope the love Lud and Barbara had for each other and their family helps get you through this difficult time. I remember Lud being bigger than life itself, a presence I will never forget. May they both be resting in peace, together forever.
