September 19, 1937~May 24, 2022

George Paul Schroder, Formerly of Rochester, NY and Des Plaines, IL, slipped these Earthly bonds on May 24th, 2022 and passed on to be with his Lord Jesus forever more. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Catherine and George Schroder, his brother Clarence Schroder, the mother of his children, Carna Schroder, His wife and mother of his step-daughters, Beverly Schroder, his sister, Beulah Uhrin, and a grand daughter, Tara Pearman. He is survived by his children, Paul (Lynn) Schroder, Cathy Pearman, Daniel (Rachel) Schroder, Peter (Penny) Schroder and his step-daughters , Heather Bray, Karen Cunningham and Jeanie Athey, fourteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Paul graduated from Robert’s Wesleyan College with a Bachelors of Science degree.
He worked his entire career spanning over 50 years in the heating/air conditioning and refrigeration field as well as teaching those skills to others at the junior college/trade school level.
Paul was also very involved in his church, serving in many capacities including lay pastor, deacon, worship leader and Sunday school teacher. He attended, taught and enjoyed many different weekly Bible studies and served at the local food pantry. He had a heart for the community and sang in a group that raised money to help place foster children into permanent homes.
Paul was not a man of many words but full of action. He will be missed by his family, church family and those who called him friend.

Dear Karen, Cathy and family. I was very sorry to hear about dad and no words will help but know Paul is in my thoughts and prayers as well as you all. May God give you strength and healing during this very difficult time.

Mr. Paul you will always be remembered in my heart as a wonderful teacher and friend you taught me how to do air-conditioning back in the early 90s and I kept in contact you with you all these years. You are a good man and I know you are with God right now you will always be remembered my friend, love, Eric
