O’CONNOR, Loretta (Née: Brennan), 82, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 25th, 2022. Born in the Bronx, New York, Loretta always remained “Bronx Tough.” Loretta was a life-long legal secretary, working at one time for the FBI, and receiving a special award from J. Edgar Hoover for her service. Loretta was also a driving force in establishing the O’Connor Law Group, P.A. with her daughters. Loretta will always be remembered by her children as the dedicated CYO coach who taught her children teamwork and a competitive spirit.
As a woman dedicated to her family, Loretta was predeceased by her loving Husband of 47 years, Michael O’Connor. Loretta was also the loving mother of one son, John O’Connor (Lisa); and three daughters: Kerry O’Connor (Cheryl Yunker); Maureen O’Connor (Anthony Farese); and Tara O’Connor (Walter Savoldy, Jr.). Loretta was “Nana” to her grandchildren: Cassidy, Meghan, Richie, and Ryan. Loretta is survived by many nieces and nephews, all of Ireland.
Visitation will be held from 4 – 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at Dobies Funeral Home, Hudson Chapel, 9944 Hudson Avenue, Hudson, Florida. A memorial mass and procession to Grace Memorial Gardens, Hudson, will be scheduled at a later time.

My condolences to the family. I have known Ms. Loretta from way back in the day. She was a wonderful person. We often “met” at Bealls and compared what clothes we were buying. She always had a smile on her face and often spoke very highly of her children and grandchildren. They brought such joy to her. She will certainly be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I know how difficult this is.
