Alice Peters, 76, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away on February 15, 2025. Born on May 1, 1948, to Gustav and Eken Peters in Norddorf, Germany, Alice moved with her family to New York in 1949. She grew up in the Bronx and Long Island, alongside her brother and sister.
Alice was a true free spirit, finding joy in dancing, writing poetry, drawing, and making jewelry. She had a deep love for cats and cherished yellow roses, German perfume, turquoise, and Italian food. Her favorite Bible verse was Luke 23:43, and she loved reading The Stand by Stephen King, listening to “Nights in White Satin” by the Moody Blues, and indulging in coconut cake. Though she never visited, she dreamed of exploring Hawaii. As a child, she enjoyed playing volleyball and doing gymnastics. Her lively and artistic nature left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Alice’s legacy lives on through her children, Annette (Tom), Erika (Brian), and Jeff; her grandchildren, Samantha, Thomas, Tyler, Grace, Jason, Kaleb, and Hailey; great-grandchildren, Lillian, Livia, Reina, and Atlas; her brother, Gustav Peters (Bine) and her sister, Marlene Peters. She was preceded in peace by her parents, Gustav and Eken.

Death leaves a heartache
no one can heal,
love leaves a memory,
no one can steal.
