Alice Sandra (Thompson) Widmann, 81, of Tampa Florida, formerly of Allentown, PA. died November 25th, 2020 at home. She was the wife of the late William Widmann, Jr. Alice was born in Scranton PA, she was the daughter of the late Vera (Baker) and Meredith Thompson. She was a nurse for the Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia for 25 years. She was a member of Lehigh Valley Baptist Church. Survivors: Son, Christian T. Widmann and wife Lori of Tampa, Florida. Granddaughters, Krista, Brittany, Alyssa, Ashley and husband William, and Amanda and husband Trevor, Great Grandchildren, Greyson, Evelyn and Capri.
Interment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Due to the ongoing pandemic, the service will be private. A public memorial service will be announced at a later date.

So sorry to hear of Alice's passing! We knew each other since Wilson Sch. days and Girl Scouts. We kept in touch until her last move. Her dad and my grandfather worked together at Bell Tel Co. and her dad was my Sunday Sch. teacher at Triity Mem. in Mtville. She always wrote interesting notes on her Christmas and birthday cards. I miss our friendship and will enjoy my memories of her! Just yesterday, my husband found this obit and solved the mystery of what became of my friend! That's why I'm so late responding.
