Anna Terranova, 101, of Beverly Hills, Florida passed away on December 31st, 2021. Formerly of Hudson, Florida. She is survived by her brother Vincent Terranova; three nieces and one nephew.
Missing my Aunt Anna.
My Aunt Anna ended her earthly walk at the age of 101 and rang in the New Year in heaven, joining so many she knew and loved, in the presence of her Savior. Born first in an Italian American family she was a second mother to her 5 siblings and cared for her parents, speaking Italian to help them navigate business outside of the home. She was a faithful and compassionate Christ follower, a role model to me. You could always find Anna in church, she loved music , Bible study, and serving others in the Women’s Ministries group. She wanted to be a teacher but was a genius with a sewing machine. She worked for many years sewing samples in the NYC garment district with her sister Rose. After my grandparents died she retired to FL buying a new, furnished, model home in a typical FL family community where she loved to interact with the neighbors and their children. Always in excellent health but saddened by recent human events she closed her eyes with confidence, 2 Cor 5:8. Her favorite Bible passage was Psalm 91 – “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.”
