Bernice “Bunny” Colantoni

Bernice A. Colantoni “Bunny” 95, of Port Richey. Entered into rest on May 21, 2021. She was born on June 8, 1925, in New York City, NY the daughter of the late Alfred and Elsie (Baumann) Heintzen.

She is survived by her son John Reilly of Hudson; 2 grandchildren Kristin Dolce and Rafe Dolce; 3 great grand children, Amy, Nicholas and Michael; numerous nieces and nephews and lots of friends, all whom love her royally. She was predeceased by her daughter Sharon Dolce; fist husband John Reilly (1957); second husband Vincent Colantoni (1989)

She was the light of any party and anyone who even met her for just a few minutes fell in love with her instantly.  She had a great sense of humor and loved life, every single moment of it.

She is beautiful inside and out and will be sorely missed ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

My deepest sympathy to her whole family. Aunt Bernice was a wonderful vibrant woman who embraced life. She was kindhearted and had a wonderful sense of humor. She will be sorely missed. May she rest in God’s peace and in the arms of his angels.

I was captivated the very first time I met Bernice. She immediately becomes everyone’s aunt Bernice. I don’t think I’ve ever met someone so full of love for life. I will be sure to listen for her deep infectious laughter coming from the heavens above. And she’ll know when we need it most.

So very sorry to hear that Bunny no longer here.. she was a wonderful woman, landlord, and former neighbor, with great history here in my little town. Smart as a whip, great sense of humor, energetic, and witty to the end… these are a few of the ways I will remember her.
