Birdie M. Warner 95 of New Port Richey Passed Away on February 3, 2024. She was born on December 14, 1928 in Ft. Myers, Florida, the daughter of the late Robert And Lula May (Howell) Williams.
She lived in Everglades City,  FL with her first husband William Mark Garrett, who passed away after 18 years of marriage. Two years later, she married Gary Warner, and was married 57 years until the day of her passing.  Birdie spent most of her life as a devoted wife and mother.  She also worked for a grocery store in Everglades City and the Chamber of Commerce.  After Birdie and Gary Warner moved to Pinellas County, she worked for the City of Clearwater, a local department store, and a family-owned local restaurant, The Chick-Inn.  She was a Member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Largo.  Birdie was a strong woman. a devout Christian, a loyal friend, and a woman of great integrity.  She will be sorely missed by her large extended family and many friends.
Birdie is survived by her husband Gary Warner of New Port Richey, daughters Linda Shaw of Largo, Kathryn Hogan and her husband Robert
of Palm Harbor, son Gary Garrett of N.C., 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and her sister Belle Cernich
and her husband Jim of Texas.
