Bobby Karl “Pete” Littleton, age 88, died Thursday, June 15, 2023, at his residence in New Port Richey, Florida.

Born February 7, 1935, he was the son of the late Ivy D. Littleton and the late Mary Benthal McCain Littleton. He moved from Dyer, Tennessee to Chicago, Illinois to work for the railroad, and thereafter retired from Maruichi Leavitt Pipe and Tube after 27 years. He lived in Grand Chain, Illinois for many years before moving to Florida. He loved to be outside and loved animals. He loved riding his four-wheeler and golf cart. He will be remembered for having ducks and always feeding the birds, but mostly for having a pet llama, which was quite humorous to his family.

A memorial service will be held July 15, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Valparaiso Baptist Church in Valparaiso, Indiana with Pastor Mitch Talba officiating. The family would like to mention Pastor Bruce Clubb, who was his pastor at Christian Community Ministries in Villa Ridge, Illinois, where he was a member and a deacon for many years. He loved his church family.

He is survived by four sons, Bobby Karl Littleton Jr. of Knox, IN, Phillip Littleton of Knox, IN, Brent Kern (Darlene) of Holly Ridge, NC and Jeffrey Littleton (Cheryl) of New Port Richey, Fl; four daughters, Sandra DiVito of Chicago, IL, Debbie Hutton (Bob) of Knox, IN, Betty Katsaros of Huntington Beach, CA and DeAnna Owens (Brett) of Locust Fork, AL. He is survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is survived by Dorothy Pach Littleton, the mother of his children.

Bobby is preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Hubbard Littleton; a son, Al DiVito, Jr.; a granddaughter, Sydney Littleton; two brothers, Frank Littleton and Mac Littleton; and four sisters, Janice Garner, Dale Bell, Ruth Alyce Rather and Maxine Roberts.
