With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Lynne Butler, a remarkable woman who brought kindness, strength, and endless generosity to this world. Lynne left us peacefully on October 20, 2024, after a life dedicated to bringing warmth and joy to those fortunate enough to know her.
Born on June 26, 1960, Lynne’s life was a testament to resilience, strength and love. She was a devoted mother, a loyal friend, and an inspiration to all who crossed her path. Her gentle spirit and genuine smile touched many lives, and her memory will live on in the countless hearts she uplifted.
Above all, Lynne’s greatest pride and joy was her family. She is survived by her daughter, son in law & grandson, Kristy, Russell and Derek Rice, son & daughter in law ,Tyler & Chelsea Lang, Siblings, Paul Schlesinger, Mark Schlesinger & Sandra Kennison and nieces & nephews, Heather Diaz, Kara Schlesinger & Kyle Schlesinger, each of whom carry wonderful memories. Though she is no longer with us in body, Lynne’s love will endure in every life she touched, a constant reminder of her selflessness and warmth.
Lynne’s family extends their deepest gratitude to all who have shared their support, prayers, and memories during this time. A celebration of Lynne’s life will be held in June of 2025, where friends and loved ones will be invited to honor her legacy at a later date.
As we say goodbye, we remember Lynne with smiles through our tears, grateful for the gift of her life and the love she shared. We take comfort in knowing she is at peace, watching over us with the same grace and love that she brought to us all.

So sorry for your loss. Lynne was a very nice neighbor who loved her family. She was so proud of her grandson Derek and loved spending time with him. I’m sorry I couldn’t make it to see you for have been sick

Lynne was a great friend to me in our early youth growing up together in Palmer drinking Sloe Gin Fizz. My condolences to Kristy and Tyler and your families. Your mom was a wonderful person, one of the strongest women I have ever met. God Bless Lynne and her family !!

So sorry to hear of Lynne’s passing. Dickey & I were neighbors with her parents Ed & Regina for years. Regina spent many moments talking about her.
