Byron Eugene Beck “Butch” “Chief”, 75, of Wesley Chapel, Florida, passed away on March 26th, 2024. He is survived by his children Lisa, James, and William; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; as well as siblings Imadell, Ted, Millie, and Eric. He was a retired US Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge as well as the VFW.

I sat down to write some memories with Butch and soon had 7 pages.
I have a head and heart full of great memories and I will see him on the other side cancer and pain free.
The best memory was I got to share his life and for that, I will be forever thankful.
It’s sad when someone you know becomes someone you knew.

Just saw this – Butch and I served together on USS Saipan (LHA-2) for 3 years. He was a great friend and was excellent as a Navy lithographer. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.
