Mrs. Goetz and Lisa,
I’m so sorry for your loss. I was in the band with Carl. I remember him as a sweet guy who always tried his best with the music we played. Carl will be famous in the band’s Class of ’76 members for being the first recipient of the Twinkle Toes award. Mr. Fisher saw how hard Carl worked during our first Band Camp and he wanted to recognize him for trying so hard.Carl proudly wore the bells on the string around his neck after he was given the award.
