Carmen R Guido
January 29, 1990~September 05, 2022
Carmen was born in New Hartford, NY to the parents of Edward P. Guido and Rebecca Guido on January 29th 1990.
Carmen or more affectionately known as Big “C” Da Boss was born with a rare condition coarctation of the aorta and had corrective surgery as a little boy.
Knowing he may have a short life he lived every day by his terms.
Life was never taken serious by Carmen he loved to joke and have everyone laughing around him.
If you tried to be serious with him he would follow it up with “all my life” and if you asked him for anything he would say “5 bucks”.
As obstinate as carmen could be he had a huge heart and genuinely loved his family and friends.
He would never hesitate to go out of his way to make someone feel loved, and cared about.
He had a passion for music and would listen to music all night long. He also was crazy about anything sports.
He thrived off of knowing all sports facts and his favorite time of year was when he would bet on some football.
Carmen was an amazing uncle, although he was such a free spirit, he was also strict with his nephews, and niece so they turned out responsible but equally would match that with love.
He would facetime them almost daily. Carmen had so many friends but to him, his friends were an extension of his immediate family.
Carmen passed away prior to the death of his Father, Edward Guido. He is survived by his Mother, Rebecca Guido, his sister Alexis and husband Adian, his Nephews, Edward, and Adian J, and
Nieces Josephine, and Evalyn, his Paternal grandmother Evelyn Guido, and Maternal grandmother Diane Poole.
The family would like to thank all of Big C’s friends who have sent pictures, shown their love, and support, and helped with any arrangements. You do not know how much it means to us.

We have so many Wonderful memories of Carmen. The one that comes most to mind is when he wanted to go watch Joe Race at a track meet And rode with me. I was driving way too fast and was pulled over for speeding. Carmen went crazy, he was terrified . He was crying to the officer, Mr. officer ,please Mr. officer , don’t take me to jail …just call my mom , please don’t take me to jail…I did nothing wrong . we just laughed and laughed as I tried to assure him that we weren’t going to jail and he would just give me a ticket . but he was Too dramatic for that . the poor officer was so afraid of Carmen having such a panic attack, he let us go. A few days later Eddy drove Carmen over to our house with a gift for me. It was an angel that clicked on the visor of my vehicle. It said never drive faster than your guardian angel and fly. I had that for many many years.
