Carol J Lambert, age 85, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 24,2025 at hospice with her family by her side. She was born September 9, 1939 in Crandall, MS to James and Rosie Hollingsworth.
Formerly from Dayton, Ohio, she was a 1957 graduate of Kiser High School. She married the love of her life Boots Lambert on October 13, 1972. She and Boots retired to Florida in 1993. She lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures: chatting with friends and family, reading her favorite books, and walking her furry friend Bear. Carol also was an avid bowler. She brought light to everyone who knew her with her smile, twinkling eyes and sweet nature.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Boots, her mother and father, James and Rosie, her sister Alice Jewel, her brother Jay, her nephew Jack, and many furry pets. She is survived by her son, Thomas (Shonda) Ames, her 2 granddaughters, Taylor and Madison Ames, numerous nieces and nephews and her step children. She loved them all.
She will be missed by all who knew her. She is in the care of Dobies Funeral Home. Services to be determined at a later date.

and I met in June 2021. We became great friends..walking Bear, bowling on Thursday , and dinners out. I left FL in 2023, but we kept in constant contact. Always ended our talks with โmiss youโ and I sincerely will.
